Saturday, December 3, 2011 Members of Union Hill participated once again this year in the "Parade Of Lights" in the Village of Webster.  The department's theme was "The American Flag," and featured a flag on the side of a fire truck, along with Santa's sleigh decorated with a flag design, complete with the Statue of Liberty!

The department won FIRST PLACE for best appearing engine.

The department has been working on the float since August, with a design inspired by Assistant Chief Greg Read.  The department plans to display the flags on the roof of the firehouse after the holiday season.
